Virtual Studio Visit with Painter Francie Lyshak

Francie Lyshak is interviewed about her paintings and exhibition at Carter Burden Gallery in Chelsea, New York City. Ms. Lyshak's career spans decades exhibiting in museums and galleries throughout the United States. She has recently dived deeply into abstraction with thick, gestural, color field paintings which can be understood as an extension of her expressive figurative work. These two virtual studio visits occurred during the summer 2020 quarantine and are edited together by Michael Phillips Media.
